In 2015, HPE researchers partnered with Yad Vashem, the world center for Holocaust Remembrance, to host a Big Data Hackathon, History Meets Innovation. Participants used HPE Big Data Solutions to uncover new ways of presenting and understanding over one petabyte of unstructured data stored in Yad Vashem's archives. We highlighted the extraordinary work of this ongoing partnership through placements at key events like SXSW in 2016 and a media campaign design to drive awareness for Yad Vashem's critical work.
